A network of buildings that enables learning and collaboration
About
IIHS, Sadashivanagar is a network of four interconnected buildings in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru, designed to support the interdisciplinary research, practice and capacity development that defines our approach to urban transformation.
Work and Learning Spaces
The Campus’s workstations, classrooms, seminar and exhibition spaces, and library support structured knowledge generation and exploration across programmes and disciplines.
Facilitating Collaboration
Shared workspaces, meeting areas, and social zones facilitate coordinated work, knowledge exchange, and day-to-day institutional collaboration. A dedicated studio for the IIHS Media Lab supports media research and knowledge production.
Engaging with External Audiences
The Campus hosts conferences, exhibitions, and events, providing space for sustained engagement with diverse audiences. National and international events hosted here have contributed to urban discourse in India and beyond.
Embedding Sustainable Practices
IoT systems monitor energy and water use and waste production, enabling resource optimisation and operational efficiency. A rooftop organic garden supplies fresh produce for daily meals, alongside sourcing from the IIHS, Kengeri Campus food farm.
