For the IIHS-led <Solar Decathlon India> (SDI), DBL has developed online self-learning modules (SLMs) in several technical topic areas related to building science for participating teams. The topics covered in the SLMs mirror the 10 contest areas in the challenge and help teams develop the foundational knowledge required to address the contests. The SLMs explain the concepts and principles for each topic area through a combination of videos and quizzes, and introduce the learners to calculations and problem-solving methods. Currently, these modules are available only to SDI participants and will be accessible to a wider audience in the near future.
