Within the City Water Resilience Framework (CWRF), a joint initiative by Arup and the Rockefeller Foundation, IIHS played a crucial role. The project aimed to establish a global standard for water resilience, allowing cities to assess their resilience within their basins. IIHS contributed through primary research, stakeholder engagement in five global cities, remote GIS basin analysis, data analysis, city report development, and organising knowledge exchange workshops. IIHS was pivotal in facilitating city consultations and validating findings. The project, once established, will empower cities not only to diagnose vulnerabilities but also to make robust decisions, fostering urban water systems' resilience worldwide.
