IIHS synthesised content from its capacty development programmes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) on land and housing into a short online self-learning module, which gives learners a sense of the current housing shortage in the country. It covers one of the more appropriate methods used to estimate housing shortage, and explores the role of the government and private players in making urban housing accessible by suggesting a way forward in improving India's housing situation. This online learning module will be available on the National Urban Learning Platform (NULP).
