This study has multiple verticals which traced the impact of COVID-19 and attendant lockdowns on conditions of living of domestic workers. This vertical on livelihood investigated the impact of pay cuts and loss of livelihood on financial recovery, reduced wage rates and household expenses. The vertical on housing investigated the impact of reduced income on rental housing security, and ways in which rental expenses were managed.
