This TES4SD Network Plus project aims to develop sustainable institutional capacity in India, South Africa, Rwanda and Somalia. This is achieved through high-quality research that assists key stakeholders in these countries and at a regional and global scale to better understand how education systems can be transformed to support sustainable development. The sustainable development goals (SDGs) framework has emerged as a powerful policy and operational response to development challenges worldwide, particularly in Asia and Africa. Improvements in the education system, in addition to other development dimensions, has the potential to act as a driver for sustainable development.
