The India Data Cube (IDC) proposes to develop a system that will make use of statistical and machine learning techniques to integrate data from earth observation, census and sample surveys to generate land-cover maps, population distribution maps and development indicators datasets at sufficient spatial and temporal resolutions. The project is split into four main work packages namely setting up of a national Data Cube (WP0), Land Cover time series (WP1), Population mapping (WP2) and Development indicators (WP3). The project is funded by the GEO-Amazon Earth Observation Cloud Credits Programme.
