Sandeep Kumar Mitra is a qualified chartered accountant and a cost accountant with a career spanning 24 years and has experience in finance, administration, HR, law and IT. He brings extensive understanding of finance and information technology domains. He works across key finance functions: controlling, planning, execution, profitability analysis, project deliverables including thought leadership and mentorship. Under his leadership, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) selected IIHS’ Annual Report and financial statements as the winner of the Silver Shield for the ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 2017–18. In 2018, IIHS’ Annual Report was the recipient of Certificate of Merit in the category Non-Governmental Organisations (including NPOs) by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
Sandeep started his career with BOC India Limited, Kolkata, where he was responsible for accounting and costing including managing banking, treasury and corporate finance. He served in GE Medical Systems, Bengaluru, as CFO of the healthcare legal entity. He has worked with IBM India Limited for 10 years as domain expert in finance process knowledge. He received the Innovation Award for Revenue Growth by IBM and Best Global Manager by GE.
