This study drew out the lessons that state and non-state relief efforts during COVID-19 offered to improve social protection for informal settlements post-crisis. It synthesised learnings and reflections on social protection for informal workers and settlements from COVID-19 relief efforts of a labour union in Jaipur and a network of non-state actors in Delhi. A website that hosts an archive of the relief efforts as well as the learnings went live in July 2023.
