This project was conducted to outline the process and the procedure used to conduct a city survey using drone technology in two pilot areas in Maharashtra and analyse their efficiency and suitability for city surveys in Maharashtra. The Centre for Land Governance (CLG) team at IIHS visited the two sites during the drone surveys and conducted meetings with concerned government officials to document the entire survey process, and understand good practices and gaps of the survey process and the technology used. The team further suggested recommendations that can be implemented in similar future projects.
