IIHS conducts capacity building programmes annually for road traffic and transport officials under an MoU with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH). These programmes have focused on road-based public transport, including transition to clean energy, public–private partnerships in road-based transport services, multi-modal integration, modal shift to public transport, and the use of technologies such as intelligent transportation systems (ITS). A total of 360 officials have attended the programmes till date.
