Senior Consultant – Digital Blended Learning

OverView

Garima Sharma is an instructional designer with a background in content development for non-fiction publishing and television programming. At IIHS, Garima creates digital learning courses and other formats of learning materials based on institutional research. She is responsible for the content development and instructional design of MOOCs as well as other learning products.

Garima has a mixed bag of experience creating and developing content on topics ranging from science, wildlife, nature and lifestyle, to pop culture and history, in the formats of books, websites and TV shows. She recently pivoted to instructional design after earning her master’s degree in education technology from NYU, followed by a short stint in the museum learning space. Garima holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Delhi University and a postgraduate diploma in film and television production from Xavier’s Institute of Communications, Mumbai. Garima’s professional and personal goals align with her passion for sustainability, education, equity and compassion. She is excited about the possibilities that the confluence of education research, design thinking and technology can offer to make our world more sustainable.
