The Labs at IIHS support the institution’s vision by enabling experimentation in knowledge creation and incubation, methodological innovation, and skill-building.

In particular, they emphasise innovation in research, practice, and methods. While some Labs cut across all IIHS Schools, others are aligned with specific themes and areas of research and practice.

The Labs contribute to creating new knowledge, both for the enhancement of capabilities within IIHS in a self-reflexive manner, as well as for learning and development for external partners and participants.
