Maria Bartholomea is an MBA graduate with a focus on international business. Maria initiated her professional journey as a sales executive in the timeshare business before transitioning to the aviation industry. In her role in ground operations, she demonstrated proficiency in passenger handling, flight operation coordination, and crisis management.
Her career path then led her to the marketing domain, where Maria excelled in competitor analysis and hosted marketing events to generate leads for business expansion within the aviation sector. Subsequently, Maria took on the position of Programme Coordinator at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, overseeing the operations of executive programmes.
As an External Consultant at IIHS, she plays a pivotal role in the execution of the Urban Fellows Programme by providing administrative, operational, and logistical support. Her expertise lies in coordinating travel, managing accommodations, and overseeing field visits while ensuring quality amenities for Faculty and Fellows. She collaborates closely with the IIHS Administration, Finance, and People teams to ensure smooth programme functioning. She is also responsible for vendor management, bookkeeping, and facilitating key events like orientation and graduation, upholding the integrity and efficiency of UFP’s transformative educational experience.
