Madhumithra R holds an LLM from Annamalai University and a BAL, LLB from K. L. E. Society’s Law College (affiliated to Bangalore University). During the early days of his career, he interned at Krishna & Saurastri IP Law firm, Bengaluru, in 2007–08. He is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and has varied experience in transactional and litigation matters in Chennai and Bengaluru.
Madhumithra has received professional acknowledgement as a star performer during his work tenure at Tata Motor Finance and Amicorp Management India, in the process of streamlining the litigation management filed against the company, and incorporation and company management processes respectively. His interests are drafting and reviewing contracts and carrying out in depth analyses of court cases. His hobbies are playing cricket, music and singing.
At IIHS, Madhumithra supports the Legal & Regulation team. He works on assignments related to contract drafting, contract management, documentation support, legal memos, opinion writing and assists with research work related to urban law regulation and policy.
