IIHS contributed to the development of Karnataka’s Affordable Housing Policy, 2016, updating the 2013 policy to broaden its scope and incorporate provisions from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). IIHS organised a series of consultations, including a national-level roundtable, to gather insights from other states on formulating and implementing housing policies and to identify key takeaways for shaping Karnataka’s policy.
