Supported by Tata Trusts, this learning study examines the design and implementation of the Government of Karnataka's Koosina Mane programme, which provides crèche facilities for women engaged in informal work. The study seeks to understand how public childcare programmes operate in practice, identify implementation challenges and opportunities, and generate evidence to strengthen childcare policy and programme delivery.
