overview

With support from AVPN, IIHS worked to advance the large-scale adoption of high-performance buildings (HPBs) in India by strengthening the business case for HPBs and convening sustained dialogue with industry stakeholders. The project also expanded engagement on policy, regulation, and financing to enable HPB investments at scale. IIHS developed and disseminated knowledge products for policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, and real estate actors, alongside city-level consultations in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad, and state and national policy dialogues. The initiative fostered cross-sector collaboration and generated pathways for scaling climate-responsive practices within India’s real estate sector.
