The Campus, located in the city of Bengaluru, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to aid collaboration, both in the physical and virtual modes, and demonstrates best practices in campus design and management, as well as resource management.

From an active campus in central Bengaluru to a living laboratory at Kengeri—each site is a distinct expression of IIHS’ commitment to grounded, place-based urban practice.

IIHS, Sadashivanagar

IIHS, Sadashivanagar is a network of four buildings in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru, all within walking distance of each other.

It includes state-of-the-art classrooms, seminar and exhibition spaces, meeting rooms, cabins and workstations, a library, multiple collaboration and social areas, and a fully equipped studio. The Campus is fully accessible and equipped with advanced technology and support services for conferences, workshops, and academic gatherings.

IIHS,
Kengeri Campus

IIHS is developing a world-class, state-of-the-art, integrated and sustainable net-zero residential campus in a 54-acre site located in Kengeri, Bengaluru.

The Campus, with a planned 0.2 million square metres of built-up area, will demonstrate the convergence between the best of India’s crafts-based building traditions and cost-effective, sustainable modern technology.

The Campus is a local biodiversity hotspot and forms the basis for the world’s first megacity Long-Term Urban Ecological Observatory (LTUEO). It will be an interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence in the Global South that generates new knowledge, develops nature-based solutions and develops human capacity at the interface of urban ecological science, sustainability science and climate science.
