OVERVIEW

IIHS Programmes

IIHS is built on the recognition that research and practice in the 21st century are increasingly moving beyond disciplinary silos towards more interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral approaches to analysis and problem-solving. This philosophy is built into IIHS’ organisational framework.

Though distinct, each of IIHS’ Programmes is intentionally designed to intersect with the others and with IIHS’ Schools, Labs, and Centres, aiming to go beyond disciplinary and methodological silos. This cross-cutting design ensures that our work stays interdisciplinary, and that research, practice and capacity development are continually intertwined.
