Monjula Jasmine

At IIHS, Monjula Jasmine holds the position of Manager in the Academics Office, playing a pivotal role in overseeing the Urban Fellows Programme.

Monjula boasts over 11 years of extensive experience in the education sector, with a strong focus on online content creation and programme management. Her expertise spans instructional design, training and development, learning experience design, and capacity building. Prior to joining IIHS, Monjula served as the Head of Programme Management at UpGrad Education, where she was responsible for curating the learning experience of online educational programmes delivered to over 40,000 students across multiple partner universities in India and abroad.

Throughout her career in the ed-tech industry, Monjula held leadership roles in project management at esteemed organisations such as Cuemath, where she played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing innovative educational programmes.

Monjula’s international exposure includes her tenure at IESEG School of Business in the Lille and Paris campuses, where she focused on enhancing the international alumni network and fostering global connections beyond the classroom.

In addition to her corporate endeavours, Monjula remains deeply committed to societal development. She served as a Teach for India Fellow, teaching in an underprivileged school in Sion, Mumbai, and actively engaging with communities in Dharavi and Pratiksha Nagar. Monjula is also a social entrepreneur, founding the Swadhin Learning Foundation, dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education.

Monjula’s academic background includes an engineering degree from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and a master’s in international business from S P Jain Institute of Research and Development in Mumbai and IESEG School of Business in France, augmenting her technical knowledge, global perspective, and business acumen. Her dedication to excellence is evident through her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
