Suman Nag has an engineering degree and a postgraduate diploma in communication management, and over 15 years of domestic and international experience as a communications and partnerships lead in non-profits, consulting and media. In past roles with Deloitte, SEEDS and Zee Media, he has developed and implemented campaigns aimed at brand building and strategic outreach. He has worked extensively on cities with a focus on sustainability, climate resilience, health, wellbeing, innovation in city governance and urban development. As a communications professional, he has represented large Asian networks and programmes on global platforms and high-level ministerial conferences. He led India’s first hyper-local digital news platform at Zee with a focus on accountability of public services at the community/citizen level. At IIHS, he is responsible for building the profile of IIHS Practice Programe and contributing to institutional brand equity.
His interests lie in brand building, digital engagement, ‘technology for good’ and football.
