IIHS anchored the conceptualisation, delivery, stakeholder consultations, and design of the three-part Summary for Urban Policymakers series, which translated the latest climate science in the IPCC Assessment Report 6 cycle for policy and other city-centric audiences. The report series was launched at COP27. IIHS managed a large contingent of IPCC authors and laid out a clear pathway for climate action in urban areas, including establishing linkages between climate action and sustainable development and the conditions enabling such synergistic outcomes.
