Roopashi Khatri

OverView

Roopashi Khatri is a commercial lawyer with several years of experience advising individual clients and companies including for-profit and non-profit entities across various fields on commercial laws, domestic and international tax laws, cross-border transactions and regulatory compliances. She is also a professor of law, having taught previously in National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, and CMR School of Legal Studies, Bengaluru. She holds a LLB degree from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, and a LLM from King’s College London. Her research and practice areas include tax law, property rights and public policy, as well as constitutional law.

At IIHS, Roopashi supports the Legal & Regulation team. She works on contract drafting, undertakes legal and regulatory due diligence and assists with legal and regulatory matters, memos and opinion writing, research work related to urban law-regulation and policy.
