Inspired by the synergy between design and the environment, Spurthi Aswath’s areas of interest encompass sustainable spatial development, climate change mitigation, and ensuring environmental justice for all. Her background in architecture fuels her creativity, while her master’s in environmental planning equips her with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of climate change and resource management.
At IIHS, she manages data, reports, and stakeholder relations for the solid waste management projects in Chikkaballapur and Tiruchirappalli, ensuring comprehensive project documentation. Outside of her professional endeavours, Spurthi pursues creative outlets in dance and fine arts, and enjoys exploring different cultures through travel.
