Varun Aparanji is a civil engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleshwarappa College of Engineering (VTU). With over three years of hands-on experience as project engineer, Varun brings expertise in project management, site supervision, quality control, and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
He has a strong skill set in designing and drafting 2D and 3D plans, including floor plans, electrical and plumbing layouts, and elevations, leveraging software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Staad Pro, and Cypecad. Varun is also proficient in estimation, BOQ preparation, planning, and use of advanced MS Office tools.
Currently serving as an Associate at IIHS, Varun plays a vital role in campus development projects—ranging from construction of a kilometre-long underground services tunnel, Experimental Kitchen and roads to sustainable building materials and various Campus buildings. He collaborates closely with stakeholders and teams to ensure successful project execution.
