OverView

Sathyanarayanan brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in administration, with 16 years in the Indian Air Force and 15 years in leading academic institutions.

He began his career as an Airman in the IAF, where he earned multiple accolades, including Best in Trade, Best in General Service Training, and Best All-Rounder trophies, along with a double promotion. Throughout his service, he held diverse administrative roles across various locations, guided by his motto, ‘“Duty before self.’.” His integrity and dedication consistently earned him additional responsibilities.

While in the Air Force, Sathya completed a full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) from IIPM, Chennai. After taking a voluntary release to support his family, he transitioned to the administrative department at IIPM, Chennai, and later earned a Master of Science in Psychology from TNOU, Chennai.

He went on to serve as Deputy Director of Administration at Amity University, Rajasthan, before returning to Chennai for family reasons. For over 13 years, he contributed to the Great Lakes Institute of Management, where he played a key role in :

Ddeveloping and implementing student hostel SOPs, policies, and procedures;
Mmanaging student canteen operations; and

Ooverseeing campus security and facility management.

Sathyanarayanan is recognized for his student-centric approach, making him a trusted point of contact for the student community.
